For today's post, I'm sharing a handmade card using several rubberstamp sets, but the primary one is Everything Eleanor. I love mixing things up and adding extra elements of creativity via more stamp sets. I'm also sticking with my repeated use of the new In Colors–this time Lost Lagoon and Hello Honey.
This handmade card actually came about as a birthday card for a special friend. I wanted to honor her by creating a card just for her. But ever the practical woman, I decided to make another of the same design to fulfill another need: projects using Hello Honey. My Southern Sweet Stampers team of Stampin' Up! demonstrators was selected to create a display board for Stampin' Up! Convention in just a couple weeks. Our chosen theme: Hello Honey. That can go in a lot of directions:
- Hello Honey color
- bees
- hexagons
- honeycombs
- Anything with a "hello" sentiment
And as is often the case with my creativity, I get an idea in my head and just keep creating with it. This card is VERY similar to one I did in my stamp clubs this month shown here. This birthday card delivers a fair bit of wow with a small supply list, AND it's a quick and easy card. Change the colors and the sentiment to get something very different as shown on my club card:)
