One of the loveliest new rubberstamp sets in the annual Stampin' Up! catalog is Artistic Etchings. When I saw our co-founder and CEO, the uber talented Shelli Gardner making projects with it (click here to see!), I knew I had to have it. Shelli actually used this rubberstamp set at a home workshop in Hawaii for brand new stampers. That is a pretty big stamp of approval for me! (no pun intended:)
I love the fact that Awesomely Artistic has these lovely art images (it's very aptly named), but it's easy to use for beginners. Of course, you could get very artsy with it too, as it also lends itself to fun techniques. But last night, I was doing some new demonstrator training and this is the Make & Take we made. With just 2 ink pads, 2 punches, 1 stamp set, and some sponges, we made a lovely handmade card in just a few minutes while we chatted. No fuss--perfect for me:) Quick and easy card--score!!!
The card base is actually crumb cake, and I photographed in natural light. Alas, the photo came out a bit blackish vs. tannish:( I hope you like it anyway!
