Thailand Achievers Blog Hop-Sneak Peeks for Holiday Catalog

Thailand Blog Hop

Welcome to the August Thailand Achievers Blog Hop where demonstrators from all over the world are sharing sneak peeks of the Holiday Catalog 2017 (which debuts on September 1st).  You are at Candy Rattray, sweetstamper.com, and I’m so glad you’re here!  If you get lost at any point, the full blog hop lineup is listed and linked below.

My handmade Christmas card features the Carols of Christmas bundle (actually available right now!!!) along with some other products in the Merry Little Christmas suite in the Stampin’ Up! Holiday Catalog 2017.  We made this card in my monthly team meeting, and it was a hit!  Although you can get the Carols of Christmas bundle right now (rubberstamps and coordinating frame-lit dies), you have to wait until September to get that scrummy striped ribbon and beautiful designer series paper!

I must admit that I’ve never used so much black in a Christmas card, but the color scheme in this suite is one I have quickly fallen in love with.  It seems both classic and modern all at the same time.  How does Stampin’ Up! do that??!!!

The frame-lit dies created the beautiful cut out background (in black card stock) and also cut out the little poinsettia and leaves (first stamped and then run through the Big Shot).  Other than those two small details which come together quickly via the Big Shot, the rest of this card comes together in a snap.

I’ve added pics of the rubberstamp as well as the frame lit dies so you can see all the amazingness of them!  I truly love both the stamp set (I’ve made some great Christmas cards using the stamps only) and frame-lit dies.  Super versatile!

That’s it for me today.  I hope my handmade Christmas card inspires you in some way to make YOUR Christmas cards this year.  Truly, handmade is best–and during the holidays more than ever:)

All Stampin’ Up! supplies are listed and linked below.  Here’s the lineup for the blog hop.  Keep on hopping and get more ideas and inspiration for the holidays!

  1. Wow Candy – this card is so bright and fresh. Why don’t my Old Olive Christmas Card designs pack the punch that yours does?!? This card is a perfect way to showcase the Carols of Christmas. Thanks for sharing and God Bless, Cynthia <><
