I'm back in my 31-Day blogging challenge after missing yesterday:(  I'm halfway through, so I'm actually okay with having missed just one day.  Today's share is a super simple quick and easy fall card that I created for my monthly free class, Sip & Stamp. (Click here to read about Sip & Stamp, and please consider joining us on November 9th!Count My Blessings rubberstamp set is a gorgeous new line-art stamp set in the Holiday Catalog.

A few things about today's handmade card:

  • The beautiful art images in Count My Blessings rubberstamp set beg to be colored! B Toileut the images can also be used with just ink–no coloring in.  I stamped the acorn and leaf image all around the top and bottom edges of the card.  The result reminds me of toile fabric–those elegant fabrics with a repeating pattern.
  • I wanted a soft look throughout the card, so I chose Stampin' Up! Watercolor Pencils to color in the acorns and leaves.  I simply colored in the images and then blended the color a bit with Blender Pens.
  • The bold chevron pattern from Autumn Harvest Designer Series Paper (part of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free sale through the end of October!).  When using soft, subtle images, sometimes a little something bold brings balance.
  • You will notice that there are no words on the front of my card.  There are two sayings in Count My Blessings rubberstamp set:  Thinking of You and When I Count My Blessings You are at the Top of the List.  Everyone in the class chose the words they wanted and stamped them on the inside.  This fall card can then be used to convey thanks or appreciation or comfort and care.  I like versatility and options, so this works for me:)
