Painted Harvest Bundle is a must-have from the Stampin' Up! Holiday Catalog IMHO. It is just plain fun to play with, stamp with, create with! Today's share for Day 10 of my 31-Day Blogging Challenge is the fall scrapbook pages I created for my monthly stamp club. I have two options for my club members: 2 cards and a 3D item or 2 scrapbook pages and a 3D item. You can read more about my stamp club in San Antonio here. You can join any time and there is room for you!
On to my scrapbook pages! Fall is my favorite season, and there is so much beauty all around. That is the theme I chose for the September stamp club projects. And I must say, this is a fun 12 x 12 layout to make!
Here are a few things to consider about my fall scrapbook pages:
- Painted Autumn Designer Series Paper (part of the Buy 3, Get 1 Free DSP sale this month) gave me the perfect color scheme. Neutrals and warm, earthy tones work well for fall scrapbooking. This will be the perfect backdrop for photos taken with fall leaves or a visit to the pumpkin patch.
- I chose a sort of color block theme for the various patterns on my 12 x 12 layout. Some are textured with the Big Shot and make lovely photo spots. The softer patterns of DSP, as well as the large piece of Tangerine Tango card stock, can all hold more photos and/or some journaling. Yes, I can write directly on that DSP:)
- The Designer Series Paper patterns are "quiet"--not too busy. I wanted my title to be the main focal point to my layout--to really bring home the fact that all my pics are of fall beauties! So I went all out on a large title piece and had lots of fun making those fall flowers!
