Each month in my rubberstamp club in San Antonio, we make a 3D project. I figure that if you already have stamps, ink, and paper, you might as well branch out and make some cute treats with your supplies! These are super fun projects to make and even more fun to give. Whether bringing surprise and delight to someone's day "just because" or making stacks of these for your Sunday School class members or co-workers, these slider treat holders are guaranteed to brighten someone's day. For the treat itself, I found these Little Debbie bars in my local Walmart. Little Debbie treats are super affordable, and these salted caramel cookie bars are perfect for an afternoon treat with a cup of coffee:) Little Debbie is not just for kids!
Here are just a few things about my Slider Treat Holder design:
- Fresh Fig is a deep, rich color--perfect for a more adult looking treat holder. To get the best look with Fresh Fig, I once again turned to the In Color Combo Chart (click here to download yours now) and saw that pairing it with Calypso Coral and Blushing Bride would be a good fit.
- Mini Treat Bag Framelit Dies have these fantastic little hearts. And the die cuts out 7 of them at once! I used Copper Foil Sheets as I love how they look with anything pink.
- Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper has great versatility and it's free during Sale-a-Bration (through March 31).
- 5-1/2" x 5-1/2"
- Score at 1", 1-1/4", 3-1/4", 3-1/2"
Although I designed this Slider Treat Holder to fit the Little Debbie Salted Caramel Cookie Bars, I think it would probably work for most flattish candy bars.
Okay, now head to my online store and stock up on some of these great supplies and earn the Bubbles & Fizz Designer Series Paper free! You can see other projects I made with Bubbles & Fizz DSP here and here and here .
