Animal Outing Scrapbook Pages

animaloutingscrapbookpagesstampinupMy new Scrapbook Class Series features 3 coordinating pages to mix and match as you see fit, and this month's scrapbook pages use Animal Outing and the coordinating Animal Expedition Designer Series Papers.

Here are just a few details of my scrapbook pages, perfect for pics of kids.  I'll share another photo once I get my pictures popped in!

  1. 12" x 12" Neutrals Cardstock is a perfect backdrop for my pops of color in Berry Burst and Lemon Lime Twist.  Those are both retiring In Colors, and I will really, really miss Lemon Lime Twist!  I especially love its vibrancy when scrapbooking outdoor photos. animaloutingstampinupscrapbookpages
  2. When using heavily patterned Designer Series Papers in scrapbook pages, I like to choose one of those patterns to highlight.  For the remaining Designer Series Paper pieces, I use the "B side" aka the subtle side.  I never want to distract from my photos, so I keep strong patterns to a minimum.
  3. I may be in the minority, and maybe it's because I teach a lot of classes, but I actually prefer to make the scrapbook pages first and then find photos to fit.  Otherwise, I spend all day trying to decide my layouts and which photos to use, color scheme, etc.  It takes me way too long!  For me, I usually start with Designer Series Paper and then go from there.

All of my Stampin' Up! scrapbook supplies used in these pages are listed and linked below for your convenience.  Get some of these basic scrapbook supplies from Stampin' Up! and you will be amazed at how many cool and versatile pages you can make!
