Bloom & Grow Bundle for Global Design Project Color Challenge

GDP205
In the midst of all the Holiday Catalog frenzy, I knew I needed a little creative challenge that was NOT part of the holiday season!  So I headed to the Global Design Project and jumped into their Color Challenge this week.  I must say, I really enjoyed stretching myself with this very sweet color combo.  And although the colors are soft, I think my Bloom & Grow card is appropriate for any time of year:)

I reached for the Bloom & Grow Bundle from the new annual Stampin' Up! catalog for this Color Challenge.  I love that you can color the flowers in just minutes (I'm a quick and easy girl who's always in a hurry:) and then cut them out with dies.  I do very little fussy-cutting, so these dies are perfect.

The stamp and die I used on my focal point are a nice size, but I wanted to add more leaves to "fluff out" my floral spray.  That is easy peasy with the little leaf stamp and die.  I also knew that a bit more Mint Macaron and Whisper White would keep the Rococo Rose from overtaking my design.

I added just a wee bit of shine via Rhinestones, Silver Edged Ribbon, and a little Wink of Stella on the inside of my flowers.  It's a classic look with soft, fresh colors.

In the midst of all the Holiday Catalog frenzy, remember that all occasion cards and colors work for us all year long:) That's it for today!  All Stampin' Up! supplies used are listed and linked below for your convenience.
