Power of Hope-Simple Notecard

powerofhopebundlestampinupsaleabration2020candyrattrayI love Stampin' Up! notecards for their size and quality.  They mail for a single stamp and have just enough space for a short message.  I created this super simple notecard featuring just the stamps from Power of Hope Bundle for my recent Stamp Camp in San Antonio. I host one with every Stampin' Up! catalog release, and the next one is June 13th--so save the date!

I'm featuring Power of Hope Bundle here on my blog all week.  I kicked it off Monday with a bookmark.  You can see that post here.  Today I'm sharing my simple notecard, and the next 2 posts will be handmade cards. The Power of Hope Bundle includes the Power of Hope Cling Stamp Set and Stone 3D Embossing Folder. Pair the stamp set and embossing folder for artistic coordination (you will see that in the next 2 cards), or use them separately for even more options--like I did here and on yesterday's post. Earn Power of Hope craft bundle FREE with a qualifying purchase January 3–March 31, 2020, during the Sale-A-Bration promotion!

Let me point out a few things in my Power of Hope simple notecard:

  1.  I stamped the tree image repeatedly--sometimes re-inking my stamp and sometimes no--for varied shades of Bermuda Bay.
  2. I used Black Foil Sheet to cut out my word from Word Wishes dies.  to give a nice bit of shine.  It's also reminiscent of black lacquer furniture--at least in my mind!
  3. I used Stampin' Blends to color in the lady.  They bleed through the cardstock. If desired, cut a 4-3/4" x 3-1/4" piece of Whisper White and adhere to inside of notecard front.
