Clover Bundle is a Spring Catalog new product and the punch sold out within weeks.  However, I adore the stamp set and set about to create Lucky Clover card ideas--and I can't stop!  LOL!  Click here to see the fun projects from my Lucky Clover Project Class.  And click here to see more Lucky Clover cards:)

I'm demonstrating this Lucky Clover card on my Facebook Live tonight at 7PM CT, so join me there for tips and tricks on adhering vellum.  Click here to see the fun projects from my Lucky Clover Project Class.

Did you know this about clovers:

  • There are hundreds of varieties of clover plants, grown all over the world.
  • Four-leaf clovers became associated with good luck because they are rare.
  • Clover is associated with St. Patrick's Day because he used the extremely common tri-foliate clover in Ireland to demonstrate the biblical concept of the Holy Trinity:  Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Lucky Clover is such a versatile stamp set.  I love it when my card elements create a cohesive theme, and the map prints (both white and black  print) are perfect for my Lucky Clover card.  I used a trio of greens:  Garden Green, Parakeet Party (In Color), and Granny Apple Green for layered color.

Please follow me on and for weekly live demonstrations and plenty of crafty inspiration!  I'm actually doing a full week (M-F) of Facebook Lives, so join me this week!

Sentimental Park Card Ideas

Park Oval (1)Today's card is one of 8 from my monthly Cards With a Twist for February, and I love the luxurious look and feel of the many layers and shapes.  Check out all 8 of my Sentimental Park card ideas here on the short video.

Let me point out a few things that make this Sentimental Park card come together:

  • Rose Gold Foil oval--my favorite feature!  This paper in an oval shape is perfect for SO MANY projects.  I love it!  It brings instant elegance to any card and can also bring a vintage feel:)'
  • Night of Navy Ribbon--this Spring Catalog item definitely reminds me of blue jeans...dressed up a bit.  It can definitely work in a masculine design, but the little bit of shiny edge gives it a slightly dressy look which I love.
  • Multiple shapes and layers--with the Rose Gold Foil oval, Night of Navy textured oval frame, Shaded Spruce sprig, and Mint Macaron fancy label you get a riot of shapes, textures, and colors.

All the Stampin' Up! supplies are listed and linked below.  Be sure to subscribe to my email list so you can keep up with all my classes and news:

Watercoloring and Heat Embossing with Beautifully Happy

My Facebook Live demonstration focused on tips and tricks for easy water-coloring of a heat-embossed, stamped image.  By heat embossing (with gold:) the large flower from Beautifully Happy stamp set (free with a $100 order thru Feb. 2023), I created boundaries that make water coloring extra easy. Here are a few points about my design:  1. Using only 2 ink colors, I was able to produce lovely shades of both colors2.Water coloring with ink refills allowed me to vary the depth of color3.  I opted to stamp the greetings directly on the focal piece vs adding a flag, punch, die, etc.  That kept the focus on my flowers.

Cottage Rose Card Ideas

I have two cards for you today featuring Cottage Rose bundle and patterned paper.  This feels like one of those "spot the difference" games!

My purpose is:

  1. To share two cards with the same layout but small changes that can make a big difference.
  2. To show you my design work for Cards With a Twist

I've been offering Cards With a Twist monthly class by mail for several years and recently began Twist Club as a way to reward my regulars.  Let me talk about the designs first and then the club and class.

I absolutely love designing this way--2 cards with a difference.  It really challenges my creativity, and I love sharing options with my customers.  My hope is that they can also see how making small changes allows them to make numerous designs using the same products.  Click on the video below to see 4 sets of 2 cards--with a twist!

Twist Class has been very popular, but there were times someone would miss the class registration and be frustrated.  Solution:  Twist Club.  All the details are here:  It's a great way to have a regular, monthly card class delivered to your door with plenty of extras, goodies, and rewards!  There is room for you, so join today!

These are 2 of the cards in my January Twist Club/Class.  Why do I call it a club/class?  Because you can purchase the class by mail as a stand-alone class or become a member and subscribe for perks galore!

How to Use Country Bouquet Bundle

I'm super excited about the whole Country Lane Suite in the Spring Catalog from Stampin' Up!  I used the Country Lane Suite for my January Twist Club/Class.  You can see the suite elements as well as EIGHT awesome cards for my kit in this video.  Click here to learn about Candy's Twist Club:

But what I really wanted to share today is my demonstration of how to use the Country Bouquet builder punch with ease and get the most out of it.

I made a super simple Z-fold and then let the really fun Country Floral Lane Designer Paper do the work of making a sweet background for my heart bouquet.

The largest square in the Stylish Shapes Dies provided my background shape--it is also the perfect size for the large 2-step heart stamp as shown in the demonstration video above.

Country Lane Suite would be a great part of a Starter Kit purchase.  Click here to begin your Starter Kit order
